The Fashion Group International (FGI) has a rich legacy dating back to its founding in 1928, when Edna Woolman Chase, Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief, gathered a group of pioneering women in fashion. What began as a modest luncheon evolved by 1930 into a formal organization, committed to elevating American fashion and supporting the professional growth of women in the industry.
The organization, including regional chapters like FGI Dallas, continues to fulfill its mission by fostering connections, nurturing emerging talent, and recognizing innovation in fashion. FGI’s annual events highlight creativity and support career advancement through programming and networking opportunities.
This year, Fashion Group International of Dallas invites members and guests to the highly anticipated Night of Stars gala. Set for Friday, November 15, at the Ritz-Carlton in Dallas, the black-tie affair will celebrate the industry’s top talent and raise funds for the Fashion Group Foundation of Dallas Scholarship Fund, supporting the next generation of fashion professionals. Event chairs Fallon Bock, Melissa Ellis, and Holly Quartaro promise an unforgettable evening of fashion, creativity, and philanthropy!
