Jeanne-Marie Lanvin was a French fashion designer and a trailblazer whose influence remains as powerful today as it was in the late 19th century. Lanvin was born on January 1st, 1867, in Paris France. With the founding of her fashion house in 1889, Lanvin redefined luxury and sophistication in haute couture. Her approach to design, marked by intricate detailing and the use of luxurious fabrics, set her creations apart. She also was the first designer to launch a children's fashion line in 1908! Lanvin's legacy is a testament to her ability to seamlessly blend timeless elegance with innovation, leaving a mark on the fashion industry. Jeanne-Marie Lanvin passed away on July 6, 1946.
