HOW I SAVE MONEY ON DRESSES IN THE SPRING

HOW I SAVE MONEY ON DRESSES IN THE SPRING

Hi, sweet friends! Thank you for stopping by today. Did the title grab your attention? I know anytime I hear "save money," I'm all ears. Also, finding a way to save money on clothes always seems to make the hubs even happier than it does me.

Y'all, spring is here and so is wedding season! I feel like we were out of wedding season for a couple of years, but we're back in the game! Two of our cousins are getting married at the end of Spring, which means lots and lots of showers. It also means that I need dresses on dresses on dresses.

Over the years I've learned to develop a couple of strategies to save money on spring dresses though. The first one is that you can wear your dress to multiple events. If you're having two showers with two totally different groups of people, wear the same dress! No one will know and it saves you from buying two dresses.

The other strategy I've learned is to shop consignment. This has been a relatively new strategy, but I'm all over it this year. If you're a good consignment shopper (see tips on how to shop consignment here), you can find on-trend dresses for next to nothing! BCBGeneration is one of my favorite places for dresses and I scored this one at Clotheshorse Anonymous just a couple weeks ago! It's so cute, right? It was in mint condition and will be perfect to wear to one of our weddings this Spring.

I love that shopping consignment will allow me to wear a new dress for each function without breaking the bank (or my marriage, haha). What I really love goes beyond consignment though. Clotheshorse Anonymous has the best dresses for Spring; really and truly! Nothing is dated, everything is always right on trend, and the inventory is new daily! So, if you're in Dallas, head over there and have a little try-on session and grab some new dresses for spring!
